Unauthenticated code execution via default JWT secret
Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026
Authentication bypass in FUXA 1.2.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to forge administrator tokens and execute arbitrary code. The JWT authentication path falls back to a publicly known signing key when secretCode is empty, so it verifies attacker-signed administrator tokens. The vulnerable state requires authentication to be enabled while the administrator secret remains unset; forged administrative access reaches scripting features that run in the FUXA service context.
