CVE-2026-2586Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unrestricted EL evaluation

Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026

EL injection in Eclipse GlassFish 7.0.0 through 7.0.25, 7.1.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.0.1 lets remote authenticated users run OS commands. The JSFTemplating evaluator processes crafted Administration Console request values while allowing static methods, constructors, getClass(), class properties, and static fields to reach command-execution primitives. Administration Console access is required, and commands run with the application service user's privileges.
