Stored XSS via unsandboxed AI-generated HTML preview
Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
Cross-site scripting in QuantumNous New API before 0.10.8-alpha.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in playground browsers. MarkdownRenderer.jsx passes AI-generated HTML directly to dangerouslySetInnerHTML, so script tags execute instead of being isolated or escaped. Exploitation requires a playground user to view attacker-influenced model output; stored chat records retrigger the script when reopened.
