CVE-2026-25790Public exploitNetwork attack vector

analysisd crash via unbounded floating-point formatting

Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026

Stack overflow in Wazuh Manager 3.9.0 through 4.14.2 allows remote authenticated users to crash analysisd via crafted SCA JSON. FillScanInfo and FillCheckEventInfo pass attacker-controlled floating-point values to unbounded sprintf calls that write into 128-byte stack buffers. High-privilege access to submit agent events is required, and the demonstrated consequence is an analysisd crash.
