Process termination via unbounded file-type buffer
Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026
Denial of service in @adonisjs/bodyparser before 10.1.3 and 11.0.0-next.9 allows remote attackers to terminate the Node.js process. Multipart file-type detection appends unmatched upload chunks to an internal buffer without a size limit, timeout, or early stop, so memory use grows for the stream duration. A reachable multipart upload endpoint is required; public access removes authentication, and exhaustion of available RAM terminates the application process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
