CVE-2026-25747Public exploit

Code execution via unfiltered LevelDB object deserialization

Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026

Unsafe deserialization in Apache Camel LevelDB allows attackers with LevelDB file write access to execute arbitrary application code. DefaultLevelDBSerializer feeds repository bytes to ObjectInputStream.readObject without an ObjectInputFilter or class-loading restriction. Exploitation requires write access to the LevelDB files and a usable gadget chain; a repository read or recovery then runs code in the Camel process.
