OS command injection in SUSE YaST Samba Client 5.0.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root. The domain-join path inserts an Active Directory-supplied Organizational Unit value into an OS command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires the machine to join a domain whose directory tree is controlled by a rogue domain controller or a directory user permitted to create objects.
