Administrative API access via stale admin tokens
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Improper token invalidation in Apache Answer 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to retain administrative API access. Administrative token validation accepts an existing token without rechecking the issuing account after suspension, deletion, or deactivation. A previously issued administrator token is required, and access lasts only until that token expires.
