CVE-2026-25657

Service degradation via malformed-message crash loop

Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026

Improper structure handling in Ericsson Packet Core Gateway before 1.30 allows remote attackers to degrade service with crafted messages. The undisclosed message-processing locus crashes while handling a syntactically invalid structure instead of rejecting it safely; Ericsson has not named the protocol, parser, or message field. Continuous delivery from an adjacent network causes repeated crashes, but service recovers after the traffic stops.
