CVE-2026-25648Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG device images

Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026

Stored XSS in Traccar Server 6.11.1 and later allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers. DeviceResource.java accepts image/svg+xml at /api/devices/{id}/image without sanitizing its content, then serves the file inline through /api/media/{uniqueId}/device.svg. Exploitation requires access to a device and a victim to view its stored image, enabling session theft and actions in the victim's browser context.
