Command injection in Arista NG Firewall 17.4.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to execute platform shell commands. Arista identifies the Captive Portal Custom Handler as the affected locus but has not published the parameter, code path, or input operation that reaches the shell. Exploitation requires an administrative account logged into the NGFW web interface; the documented consequence is arbitrary platform shell command execution.
