Administrator-to-administrator script execution via unencoded invoice numbers
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Stored XSS in InvoicePlane 1.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in administrators' browsers via invoice numbers. The invoice view and dashboard templates render invoice_number directly into element text, an input value, and an anchor label without HTML encoding. Administrator access is required to store the payload, and execution occurs when an administrator opens the invoice or dashboard, enabling browser-context data access or actions.
