CVE-2026-25570

Local code execution via unchecked input

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Siemens SICAM SIAPP SDK before 2.1.7 allows local users to execute code or crash the process. The SDK accepts input values without validation and can overflow a stack buffer, but Siemens has not identified the affected API, function, or variable. Exploitation requires local access, high complexity, and improper API use or absent hardening; successful attacks can compromise or interrupt the SIAPP simulation environment.
