Code execution via unsanitized project path
Published Feb 4, 2026 · Updated Feb 4, 2026
Command injection in godot-mcp before 0.1.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted projectPath. executeOperation passes projectPath to exec(), which invokes a shell and interprets metacharacters instead of treating the path as one argument. Exploitation requires user interaction with an MCP tool that accepts projectPath, and commands run with the MCP server process privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
