CVE-2026-25535Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Denial of service via unchecked GIF dimensions

Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026

Resource exhaustion in Parallax jsPDF before 4.2.0 allows remote attackers to crash browser tabs or Node.js PDF services with crafted GIFs. The GIF decoder multiplies untrusted header width and height and allocates an index buffer for the resulting pixel count without a size limit. Exposure requires an application to pass attacker-controlled image data or URLs into addImage or html; extreme dimensions exhaust memory and crash the consuming process.
