Arbitrary Java execution via unchecked ForTag getters
Published Feb 4, 2026 · Updated Feb 4, 2026
Sandbox bypass in HubSpot Jinjava before 2.7.6 and 2.8.0 through 2.8.2 allows attackers to execute arbitrary Java via crafted templates. ForTag.renderForCollection invokes bean getters directly instead of routing property access through JinjavaBeanELResolver, allowing ObjectMapper deserialization to evade restricted-class checks. Reachability requires an application to render attacker-controlled templates; exploitation allows class instantiation, server-file reads, and arbitrary Java execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
