CVE-2026-2550Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated root command execution via OpenVPN upload

Published Feb 16, 2026 · Updated Feb 16, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in EFM Networks ipTIME A6004MX 14.18.2 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root through its VPN service. The /cgi/timepro.cgi endpoint bypasses session checks, and commit_vpncli_file_upload writes an unvalidated .ovpn file into /etc/econf/vpnclient/openvpn/. The uploaded configuration uses OpenVPN script-security and up directives, so invoking the VPN service runs attacker-controlled commands as root.
