Internal data disclosure via redirect-following asset fetch
Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026
SSRF in Craft CMS 4.0.0-RC1 through 4.16.17 and 5.0.0-RC1 through 5.8.21 allows remote attackers to read internal data. The saveAsset GraphQL mutation blocklists the initial hostname and resolved IP, then Asset::handleUpload lets Guzzle follow a redirect to an unvalidated destination. A reachable GraphQL asset mutation and an attacker-controlled redirect are required; fetched metadata or other internal content is saved as an asset.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
