Stored script execution via unescaped Product Type names
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Stored XSS in Pixel & Tonic Craft Commerce 4.0.0-RC1 through 4.10.0 and 5.0.0 through 5.5.1 allows remote authenticated users to run browser script. A Product Type name is stored without neutralization, and the Craft CMS user-permissions view inserts it into a checkbox label as HTML. Admin access to Commerce settings is required to plant the name; script runs when another control-panel user opens permissions, within that user’s browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
