Stored script execution via unescaped order-status names
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Stored DOM XSS in Pixel & Tonic Craft Commerce 4.0.0-RC1 through 4.10.0 and 5.0.0 through 5.5.1 allows attackers to execute scripts. The Recent Orders widget's body.twig callback concatenates value.name into an HTML string and inserts it into the DOM without escaping. Exploitation requires administrative access to create or edit an order status and triggers when an administrator loads a dashboard containing the widget.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
