Authenticated file disclosure via unsafe workflow XML parsing
Published Feb 16, 2026 · Updated Feb 16, 2026
XXE in JFlow 20260129 allows remote authenticated users to read server files by importing a crafted workflow XML file. Imp_Done saves the uploaded File argument, then TemplateGlo.LoadFlowTemplate passes its path to ds.readXml, which creates a SAXReader without disabling external entities. Access to the workflow import handler and a valid low-privilege session token are required; entity resolution can disclose files reachable by the JFlow process.
