CVE-2026-25288

Wireless service interruption via undersized TWT response

Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN firmware allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt wireless service via a short TWT response frame. The firmware processes a target wake time channel usage response without first confirming that the packet contains the required fields, so a short frame triggers an out-of-bounds read. The frame must reach the target over an adjacent wireless link without authentication or user interaction; Qualcomm reports a transient denial of service, not data disclosure or modification.
