CVE-2026-2527Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized login key

Published Feb 16, 2026 · Updated Feb 16, 2026

Command injection in Wavlink WL-WN579A3 firmware 20210219 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. The sub_401270 handler copies the POST key value into v41 with strcpy and then supplies v41 to popen without neutralizing shell syntax. A valid session cookie is shown in the public request, and injected shell substitution runs commands with the web process's device privileges.
