CVE-2026-25258

Local memory corruption via escape-operation IOCTL

Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP Service allows local users to corrupt memory through escape-operation IOCTL calls. The service processes these IOCTL calls incorrectly, but Qualcomm has not disclosed the vulnerable routine, buffer, or bounds-check failure. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and no user interaction; no public source establishes code execution, privilege gain, or a specific crash outcome.
