Remote code execution via unquoted Git branches

Command injection in @wdio/browserstack-service in WebdriverIO before 9.24.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via a Git branch name. getGitMetadataForAISelection() inserts baseBranch and currentBranch into execSync() Git command strings without quoting or sanitizing shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires smart selection to process an attacker-supplied repository, after which commands run with the CI or developer process's privileges.
