Information disclosure via unchecked code-cache offsets
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Out-of-bounds reads in Escargot 97e8115ab1110bc502b4b5e4a0c689a71520d335 allow remote attackers to disclose memory via crafted code-cache data. CodeCacheReader trusts serialized string lengths, string-table indexes, and bytecode relocation offsets before reading buffers and entries. The code-cache feature is disabled by default; exposure requires an embedding application to enable it and accept attacker-controlled cache data, allowing memory disclosure or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
