CVE-2026-25191

Code execution via installer DLL search path

Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

DLL search-path hijacking in FinalCode 5 before 5.43R01 and FinalCode 6 before 6.51R01 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The Client installer searches its own directory for a required DLL and loads an attacker-supplied file there instead of restricting resolution to trusted locations. Exploitation requires a user to place the installer and malicious DLL together and then run the installer; the code receives the installer's execution privilege.
