CVE-2026-25169

Local service interruption via divide-by-zero

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

Divide-by-zero in Microsoft Graphics Component on affected Windows releases allows local users to interrupt operating-system availability. Microsoft has not disclosed the graphics routine, input format, or arithmetic operation that permits attacker-controlled data to become a zero divisor. Local execution is required, but no prior privileges or user interaction are required; the documented consequence is limited to availability loss.
