Storage traffic interception via disabled certificate verification
Published Feb 4, 2026 · Updated Feb 4, 2026
Improper certificate validation in AlistGo AList before 3.57.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read and alter storage traffic. The DefaultConfig function in internal/conf/config.go sets TlsInsecureSkipVerify to true, so storage-driver TLS clients accept attacker-controlled certificates. Exploitation requires control of the network path, such as DNS or ARP redirection, and exposes storage credentials and transferred data to interception or modification.
