Authenticated API key overwrite via unchecked AJAX action
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Missing authorization in Hostinger Reach 1.3.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to overwrite its stored integration API key. The handle_ajax_action function accepts the hostinger_reach_connection_notice_action AJAX request without checking the caller's capability before writing the supplied key to the database. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, but the site must be disconnected from Reach and have no API key stored; the overwrite changes integration credentials without broader reported data access.
