Cross-patient record access via user-controlled patient ID

IDOR in OpenEMR before 8.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to access another patient's billing and demographic records. The portal/portal_payment.php page replaces the session-bound patient ID with pid or hidden_patient_code request values and uses the result without an authorization check. A valid patient-portal session and an enabled portal are required; exploitation exposes another patient's demographics, invoices, payment history, and payment interactions.
