CVE-2026-25086

Service impersonation via same-port binding

Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026

Multiple same-port binds in Automated Logic WebCTRL Premium Server before 8.5 allow local users to impersonate the service. The server permits a second local process to bind its listening port, allowing that process to craft packets that recipients treat as WebCTRL traffic. Local code execution on the server host is required; exploitation can disclose or alter communications without injecting code into WebCTRL.
