Unauthenticated root command execution via destIp injection
Published Mar 7, 2026 · Updated Mar 7, 2026
OS command injection in XikeStor SKS8310-8X firmware 1.04.B07 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The /goform/PingTestSet endpoint inserts the attacker-controlled destIp value into an operating system command without neutralizing command separators. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants root-level control of the network switch.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
