Unauthenticated file read and deletion via traversal
Published Jan 31, 2026 · Updated Jan 31, 2026
Path traversal in SunFounder Pironman Dashboard 1.3.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or delete arbitrary files. The unauthenticated /api/v1.0/get-log and /api/v1.0/delete-log-file handlers append the filename parameter to the log directory without normalization or containment checks. Network access to the Flask service on port 34001 is sufficient; disclosure includes host files, while deletion can cause data loss or a service interrupt.
