Contributor-level configuration reset via nonce-only AJAX checks
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Missing authorization in Dealia – Request a quote 1.0.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reset plugin configuration. PostsController exposes DEALIA_ADMIN_NONCE to Contributor-level users, and AdminSettingsController AJAX handlers accept it without verifying manage_options. An account with edit_posts permission can erase the plugin settings, disrupting quote workflows without granting code execution or broader privileges.
