CVE-2026-25039Public exploitNetwork attack vector

NTLM hash exposure via unsanitized UNC workspace name

Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026

Path traversal in Scille Parsec before 3.3.3-rc.0 allows remote authenticated users to expose NTLM hashes via a UNC workspace name. The Windows mountpoint code accepts backslashes in a shared workspace name and passes the resulting UNC path to the filesystem without neutralization. Exploitation requires creating and sharing the workspace within an organization; the target client mounts it automatically, contacting an available share or becoming unresponsive when the resource is unavailable.
