Unauthenticated action access via missing capability check
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
Missing authorization in Contest Gallery 28.1.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to access a protected AJAX action without authentication. The post_cg1l_current_frontend_nonce action lacks a capability check and returns a frontend nonce to unauthenticated requests. No account or user interaction is required; public records do not identify the downstream operation needed to turn the nonce disclosure into account takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
