Administrator file disclosure via unchecked filename
Published Jun 6, 2026 · Updated Jun 6, 2026
Path traversal in Carr Communications Quick Playground 1.3.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The qckply_data() function passes the filename POST value directly to file_get_contents() without validation, sanitization, or a path boundary. Exploitation requires Administrator-level access and either a synced Playground clone with is_qckply_clone set or execution on playground.wordpress.net, exposing sensitive file contents.
