Sensitive data exposure via unchecked TLS certificates

Improper certificate validation in ASUSTOR Data Master allows remote attackers to intercept API traffic through a man-in-the-middle attack. The API communication component sends HTTPS requests without validating the server's SSL/TLS certificate, allowing an intercepting endpoint to receive cleartext data. A network position permitting interception is required in versions 4.1.0 through 4.3.3.ROF1 and 5.0.0 through 5.1.1.RCI1; exposed data includes account emails, MD5 password hashes, and device serial numbers.
