Permission control failure in the AMS module of Huawei EMUI and HarmonyOS allows local users to cause an availability impact. Huawei has not disclosed which AMS permission check fails, what request reaches it, or whether exploitation causes a hang, crash, or other interruption. Local access without prior privileges is required; affected releases are EMUI 14.2.0 and 15.0.0 and HarmonyOS 4.2.0, 4.3.0, and 4.3.1.
