Authentication bypass in Socomec DIRIS A-40 1.8.1 allows remote attackers to read and modify device configuration through WebView APIs. WebView applies authentication only in the client and accepts unauthenticated requests to every exposed backend API, including APIs that return stored credentials. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access to TCP port 80 and an enabled WebView server; successful requests expose and permit changes to device configuration.
