Command execution via find approval bypass
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Command injection in Anthropic Claude Code before 2.0.72 allows attackers to execute untrusted commands through the find command. The find-command parser incorrectly treats attacker-influenced input as approval-exempt, so Claude Code executes it without confirmation. Exploitation requires untrusted content to enter the Claude Code context window and influence command generation, granting command execution with the local user's privileges.
