CVE-2026-24858Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Administrative access via cross-account SSO identity

Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026

Authentication bypass in Fortinet FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiOS allows remote attackers to gain administrative access via FortiCloud SSO. The FortiCloud SSO path accepts an identity associated with one registered device for an administrative login to a device registered to another account. Exploitation requires FortiCloud SSO to be enabled and an attacker-controlled FortiCloud account with a registered device; successful access exposes configuration data and permits local administrator creation.
