Unauthenticated code execution via forwarded-host spoofing
Published Feb 13, 2026 · Updated Feb 13, 2026
Authentication bypass in Caido before 0.55.0 allows remote attackers to execute code by spoofing a forwarded host header. Caido's domain allowlist trusts the attacker-supplied X-Forwarded-Host value 127.0.0.1:8080, bypassing its non-whitelisted-host block. Guest Mode must be enabled; browser popup permission is required for the documented path except in headless mode, and successful exploitation runs code on the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
