Out-of-bounds write in tildearrow Furnace before 0.6.8.3 allows attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted gzip header extra field. The bundled zlib inflate() code continues copying extra-field bytes after the inflateGetHeader() buffer is full because it fails to stop when len reaches extra_max. Triggering requires gzip extra data to arrive across multiple inflate() calls; the published record does not establish code execution or a specific delivery path.
