Unauthenticated memory corruption via uninitialized parser state
Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026
Memory corruption in Dagor Engine through dagor_2025_01_15 allows remote attackers to alter memory via a crafted SOAP reply. The miniupnpc ParseNameValue function leaves the topelt member of NameValueParserData uninitialized before parsing attacker-controlled XML. No authentication or user interaction is required, and corrupted parser state can compromise integrity or interrupt the process.
