Stored XSS via unneutralized module headers and footers
Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026
Stored XSS in affected DNN Platform releases allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in other users' browsers via module headers and footers. DNN stores module header and footer values and renders them into page output without neutralizing executable markup; affected branches start at 9.0.0 and 10.0.0. A content-editor role is required, and viewing the affected module triggers execution that exposes browser-accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 10.0.0, < 10.2.0
