CVE-2026-24764Network attack vector

Model manipulation via trusted Slack channel metadata

Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026

Prompt injection in OpenClaw before 2026.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to influence model behavior through Slack channel metadata. The Slack message handler placed attacker-controlled channel topics and descriptions in GroupSystemPrompt, causing the model to interpret metadata as trusted system input. The Slack integration must be enabled, an affected channel must supply the metadata, and model interaction is required; the vendor characterizes the issue as defense-in-depth with configuration-dependent confidentiality and integrity impact.
