CVE-2026-24748Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Unauthenticated data disclosure and DoS via token fallback

Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026

Authorization bypass in Akuity Kargo before 1.6.3, 1.7.0 through 1.7.6, and 1.8.0 through 1.8.6 allows remote attackers to read configuration data. Token-authentication fallback treats every nonempty unknown bearer token as authorized when GetConfig avoids Kubernetes or RefreshResource uses an internal client that bypasses validation. No account or valid token is required; GetConfig reveals connected Argo CD cluster endpoints and namespaces, while repeated RefreshResource calls trigger reconciliations that can slow the Kargo and Kubernetes API servers.
