Stored XSS via executable SVG logo uploads
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Stored XSS in InvoicePlane 1.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through an uploaded SVG invoice logo. The Settings.php upload configuration admits SVG content, and invoice_logo() emits an image reference without rejecting scripts embedded in the file. An administrator must upload the logo and another user must open it; the script then runs in that user's browser and can read or modify application data.
